To All;
I downloaded a lot of postcard memories from the Central Ave/Rt 66 past to remind everyone of the rich Commerce and Culture that existed. I strongly believe that our past is the key to our future rather than trying to copy Cleveland’s Bus system using Denver Airport inspired Bus shelters. Can’t we aim higher than that?

The current Rapid Ride bus system on Historic Route 66 is efficient enough. It is the 729 miles of sewer lines that pose an immediate risk for failing that are of most concern. Spending 120 plus million on 9 miles of streetcar is entirely too much. The Tucson businesses reported no difference in their sales revenue along the new Tucson streetcar corridor. There is no proof whatsoever that the streetcar actually improved other cities economy around that area of where their new streetcar was built. The Mother Road is symbolic of freedom.
